Payton Roberts brings a disciplined, results-driven approach to complex commercial litigation. While representing a variety of clients—including Fortune 500 corporations, public companies, portfolio companies, closely held businesses, and individuals—Payton’s goal remains the same: reduce the operational burden on the client while securing the best possible result. Whether litigating in state, federal, or the specialized Texas Business Court, or seeking an efficient exit through pre-suit mediation, Payton is prepared to find the solution that works best for the client.
During law school, Payton worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas and for the Honorable Patrick R. Wyrick in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Prior to his legal career, Payton served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2015 to 2019. As a Platoon Commander and Training Officer with the First Law Enforcement Battalion, he deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2017. His service earned him the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Before joining the Marine Corps, Payton worked on the official staff of the Honorable Kevin Brady in Texas’ 8th Congressional District.
