Matt Crane focuses on complex civil litigation. He represents companies and individuals from across a range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, consumer beverage, and healthcare, in the defense and prosecution of claims in state and federal courts. He has litigated commercial disputes on a variety of substantive claims, including breach of contract, quasi-contract, fraud, merchandising practices, fiduciary breach, the Lanham Act, and the False Claims Act.
Matt has led case strategy in federal and state courts in Missouri and other states. He has written and argued successful dispositive and pretrial motions on many issues, and he has assisted with the litigation of several high-profile cases. He is involved in trial work, strategy, deposition practice, pre-trial and post-trial motion practice, expert preparation, and appellate briefing and argument, as well as alternative dispute resolution.
Matt has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in business litigation every year since 2018, and he received the “Up & Coming” award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly in 2017.
