Matt D. Ampleman litigates complex civil matters including trade secrets, commercial real estate disputes, and energy and environmental matters. Matt often argues cases with technical subject matter content, using his written advocacy to clarify complex fact patterns. Prior to his career as a litigator, Matt obtained a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering and worked at the D.C. headquarters of a federal regulatory agency.

Matt knows Missouri state and federal courts well. He co-wrote a prevailing merits brief in a Missouri Supreme Court case. Matt clerked for Rodney W. Sippel, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, after graduating from Yale Law School.
