Michael also served on numerous policy advisory committees for the federal courts and advised court systems in Macedonia and India. Before joining the Eighth Circuit Clerk’s Office in 1983 as chief deputy clerk, Michael practiced law with a St. Louis-based law firm, representing school boards and public bodies.
