Sheena Hamilton to be Honored by Missouri Lawyers Weekly

Sheena R. Hamilton will receive the Missouri Lawyers Weekly Women’s Justice Award titled Litigation Practitioner and given to “female litigators who demonstrate leadership, professionalism and a passion for improving the quality of the justice system or contributing to the betterment of the profession” on Thursday April 27, 2017.  The 19th Annual Women’s Justice Awards event takes place at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown St. Louis, and the winners will be profiled in a special section of the Missouri Lawyers Weekly on April 24, 2017.  http://molawyersmedia.com/wja/

Hamilton’s practice at Dowd Bennett LLP concentrates on employment and complex commercial litigation and corporate internal investigations.  Primarily she defends employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies across the country.  Ms. Hamilton regularly speaks and writes on employment law, and she is passionate about the legal and St. Louis community.  She serves as a Fellow for the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law, a member of the executive board for the Women Lawyers Association of Greater St. Louis, one of the youngest members of the United Way of Greater St. Louis’ Board of Directors, and a member of the Regional Business Council’s Young Professionals Network’s Steering Committee.
