Jennifer S. Kingston concentrates on complex commercial litigation, class actions and employment law. She represents corporations and individuals in state and federal courts, including challenging venues such as the City of St. Louis and Jackson County in Missouri, and Madison and St. Clair counties in Illinois.
Often, Jennifer handles a significant number of concurrent cases. She is able to achieve favorable outcomes in commercial litigation disputes, from multimillion-dollar business tort cases to multistate class actions. Jennifer primarily defends manufacturers in the steel, agricultural, pharmaceutical and construction equipment industries.
Active in all aspects of litigation, Jennifer leads case management and strategy and executes trial preparation, including motion practice, pretrial discovery, depositions, and expert retention and preparation. When appropriate, she negotiates settlements.
In employment law, Jennifer defends companies facing discrimination, retaliation and sexual harassment charges in state and federal courts.
Jennifer has been an active member of Susan G. Komen® Missouri’s Board of Directors since the Fall of 2011 and has recently been elected to a two-year term as the President of the Board of Directors. In addition to serving on the Komen Missouri Board, Jennifer is one of the co-chairs of the Fundraising Committee for the 20th Annual Race for the Cure and has served in that capacity for the last several years.
Prior to joining Dowd Bennett, Jennifer was a partner at Bryan Cave LLP, where she worked in the product liability, class action and commercial litigation groups, served on the firm’s recruiting committee and led the summer internship program.
