Dowd Bennett Attorneys Recognized at Annual Missouri Lawyers Awards

Three Dowd Bennett attorneys were recognized by Missouri Lawyers Media at its annual Missouri Lawyers Awards today.

Founding Partner Jim Bennett was recognized as a Legal Champion which is “awarded to plaintiffs or defense lawyers, not based on the size of verdicts, but the importance of the principle or policy at stake.”

Partner Sheena Hamilton was recognized as an Influential Lawyer which is “awarded to the newsmakers, those Missouri lawyers who made substantial contributions to the legal community this year.” Hamilton returned to Dowd Bennett after serving as St. Louis City Counselor for nearly four years.

Partner Michelle Nasser was recognized as Law Firm Leader which is “awarded to chairpersons, managing partners or other law firm executives who demonstrated extraordinary vision, innovation and leadership during the year.”  Nasser is the Managing Partner of Dowd Bennett’s Chicago office which opened in 2024.
