Dowd Bennett Partner Sheena R. Hamilton Named 2026 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Dowd Bennett Partner Sheena R. Hamilton was chosen to take part in the 2026 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program.  LCLD is a highly regarded non-profit organization consisting of top legal leaders including general counsel and managing partners whose mission is to create a more diverse and inclusive legal field by nurturing talent and promoting equal opportunity.

“We couldn’t be more proud that Sheena has been selected to participate in the LCLD Fellowship Program,” said founding partner Ed Dowd.  “Sheena is always looking for opportunities to learn from others and to grow as a leader.  At the same time, she has a lot to offer LCLD and her counterparts in the program.”

Hamilton was handpicked to be part of this select group based on her substantial resume including a successful litigation practice, her nearly four-year tenure as St. Louis City Counselor and her leadership locally and nationally in the legal community.

LCLD Fellows will participate in training sessions and will have the opportunity to interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations and managing partners from the country’s most prestigious law firms.

Hamilton said, “I am delighted to have been selected for this Program.  With profound respect for past ABA President and current LCLD President Robert Grey as well as several colleagues who have benefited from and are still part of the LCLD community, I look forward to what promises to be an exciting year.”
