Ms. Kingston’s practice emphasizes commercial litigation and product liability. Ms. Kingston has represented major corporations in high-exposure cases in state and federal courts throughout the country, including dangerous venues such as the City of St. Louis and Jackson County in Missouri and Madison and St. Clair Counties in Illinois. She has defended the manufacturers of a variety of products including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, tires, automobiles, trucks, trailers, children’s products, aviation components, and construction equipment. She has also represented companies in numerous commercial litigation disputes, including business tort lawsuits and multi-state class actions.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Ms. Kingston was a Partner at Bryan Cave LLP, where she worked in the firm’s Product Liability, Class Action, and Commercial Litigation groups. Before joining Bryan Cave, she served as a judicial clerk to Hon. Nanette K. Laughrey, United States District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Ms. Kingston was selected as a Rising Star in Product Liability Defense for the Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers 2009 edition. She was named by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of ten individuals that go “Above and Beyond” in 2003. She is the Chair of the 2010 St. Louis Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and a Board Member of the St. Louis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Ms. Kingston is also an advocate for Legal Advocates for Abused Women and for children with sickle cell anemia. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Moreover, she is a member of the following professional affiliations: Defense Research Institute (DRI); The Missouri Bar; American Bar Association; The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; and, the Women’s Lawyers Association. Ms. Kingston was the Associate Managing Editor of the Law Review at the University of Missouri Columbia.
