Ed Dowd elected President of NAFUSA Foundation

Founding Dowd Bennett partner Ed Dowd has been elected to serve as President of the National Association of Former U.S. Attorneys Foundation.  The Foundation raises funds for a variety of causes including award money for information leading to arrests and convictions in unsolved crimes.  Dowd, who was U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri from 1993-1999 and Deputy Special Counsel for the Waco Investigation from 1999-2000, previously served as president of the NAFUSA.  Dowd also serves on the board of Backstoppers, a  non-profit organization which provides ongoing financial assistance to spouses and dependent children of police officers, firefighters and EMTs who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
