Ed Dowd and Jim Bennett honored by BAMSL with Distinguished Lawyer Awards

Founding partners Ed Dowd and Jim Bennett were honored by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis with Distinguished Lawyer Awards, the highest honor given by the organization.  Ed, Jim, and Bob Blitz of Blitz Bardgett & Deutsch, LC were selected for their work in securing a large financial settlement for St. Louis City and County against the Los Angeles Rams and the National Football League.  The award, presented at BAMSL’s annual Law Day event, recognizes an attorney[s] “who has made a great and lasting contribution to the St. Louis region in the area of law and community service, has motivated other lawyers to work in the public interest, and who exemplifies lawyers as good citizens contributing significantly to the community.”
