Dowd Bennett Tries 1st Televised Jury Trial in EDMO
Cameras were rolling as Jim Bennett presented his opening statement in the trial of Process Controls International Inc. v. Emerson Process Management et al. in the Eastern District of Missouri Federal Court. The case was the first ever televised case in the Eastern District and three hours of video were taken the first day of trial, as part of a national pilot program sponsored by the federal courts. The “cameras-in-the-courtroom” program will also be taking place in 13 other federal courts around the country.
