Dowd Bennett Recognized as Most Philanthropic Small Company for Ninth Consecutive Year

The St. Louis Business Journal has once again recognized Dowd Bennett as the region’s most philanthropic small company.  The firm received the honor at an April 16 breakfast where founding partner Ed Dowd accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

Since its founding in 2006, Dowd Bennett has emphasized philanthropy, focusing its efforts on organizations that strengthen essential community needs and enhance the St. Louis region.

In 2025, the firm contributed nearly $2.7 million in cash and in-kind support.  Major beneficiaries included Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, Great Rivers Greenway and the Greater St. Louis Inc. Foundation, with additional substantial contributions to the Urban League for tornado relief, Siteman Cancer Center and Arch City Defenders.
