Dowd Bennett Awarded Most Philanthropic Small Company for Fifth Consecutive Year

Dowd Bennett was recognized as the most philanthropic small company by the St. Louis Business Journal at a May 12 breakfast.  In 2021, the firm contributed over $1.7 million in cash and in-kind contributions.  The largest regional donations went to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ “Attorneys Against Hunger” program and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.  Dowd Bennett, founded by Ed Dowd and Jim Bennett in 2006, has been the sole recipient of the Small Company Corporate Philanthropy Award since its inception by the Business Journal in 2018.
