Caitlin O’Connell Joins Dowd Bennett

Dowd Bennett is pleased to announce that Caitlin O’Connell has joined the firm as an associate.  Ms. O’Connell joins us from Washington, D. C., where she previously worked as a litigation associate for a private law firm.

In addition to her experience in private practice, Ms. O’Connell served as a Madison Fellow at Americans United for Separation of Church and State, litigating First Amendment cases at trial and on appeal.  Ms. O’Connell also completed a clerkship for the Honorable Julia Smith Gibbons of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Ms. O’Connell attended Washington University, where was a Notes Editor for the Washington University Law Review.  Her practice will focus on complex civil litigation.
