An afternoon at The St. Louis Area Foodbank®

A group of volunteers from Dowd Bennett spent this afternoon volunteering at The St. Louis Area Foodbank®.  In just two and a half hours, the group of volunteers packaged 816 cases of food (19,318 meals) to be delivered to food pantries across Missouri & Illinois.

Since 1975, The St. Louis Area Foodbank has been providing food to those in need.  With the help of roughly 20,000 volunteers a year, they are the bi-state region’s largest non-profit food distribution charity, servicing 14 counties in Missouri and 12 counties in Illinois.
