Dowd Bennett donates to feed local families

Dowd Bennett LLP donated $50,000 to The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis to assist them in their efforts to support local families struggling with food insecurities amid the Federal government’s shutdown.  The donation was split between Operation Food Search and Meals on Wheels.  Jim Bennett joined BAMSL leaders today, to present the checks to each organization.

The firm also participated in BAMSL’s Attorneys Against Hunger food drive by collecting non-perishable food, personal care items and cleaning supplies.  Attorneys Against Hunger is an effort that partner, Ed Dowd Jr., started when he was president of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
