Governor Jay Nixon to Join Dowd Bennett LLP after Leaving Office

After completing his second term as the Governor of Missouri on January 9, 2017, Governor Jay Nixon announced that he will join Dowd Bennett and transition back to private practice.  Governor Nixon has also served four terms as Missouri Attorney General and held office as a state senator.  Missouri Lawyers Weekly interviewed Gov. Nixon and Dowd Bennett founding partners, Ed Dowd and Jim Bennett, about the announcement.
