Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Mr. Dowd interned with the chambers of The Honorable E. Richard Webber of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. As a judicial intern, Mr. Dowd drafted multiple opinions on Motions to Dismiss and Tolling of the Statute of Limitations under the Federal AEDPA Statute. He also interned with the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis where he second-chaired two felony trials, wrote an appellate brief, and represented the State of Missouri in preliminary hearings in criminal cases.
